Football has the largest rosters in youth and high school sport, which means a team order is a bulk order by default — and the per-shirt cost drops accordingly.

It also has the biggest supporter base. A football programme can sell shirts to a whole town.

    Team and programme shirts

Team name front, surname and number back. Laid out like the jersey — see custom football shirts.

Full roster on the back. With a 50-plus roster, keep it to surnames only and set the type clean. Still readable, still the design families keep.

Position group shirts. O-Line, D-Line, Linebackers, Skill. Position groups are tribes within a team and the shirts get worn constantly. O-Line shirts in particular are a tradition of their own.

Friday night shirts with the team name, year and the full schedule on the back.

Season record shirts after a good year.

Playoff and championship shirts. After, never before.

Weight room and summer programme shirts. Earned by showing up, and worn with real pride.

Team motto shirts. Every programme has one. Ask the coach.

    Senior night

The biggest single order of the football season after the team itself.

Senior shirts with the player's photo, number and four years.

Family shirts for each senior, with the player's number and name. Different for every family, at no extra cost.

"Class of 2027" with every senior's name and number.

Order these six weeks ahead. Senior night always arrives sooner than the programme plans for, and it is the one night nobody wants to get wrong.

    Parent and supporter shirts

Jersey-style parent shirt. Your player's number large on the back, "MOM" or "DAD" above. The most-ordered football parent design.

Last name across the shoulders, exactly like the player's jersey. Excellent for a whole family section.

"My Heart Is On That Field · #7."

Full roster for the parent block.

    Grandparent shirts with the number.

"Football Mom: Part Fan, Part Medic, Part Taxi."

"I Wash The Pants Nobody Else Will Touch."

    Booster club and fundraising

Where football programmes actually make money.

Town-wide supporter shirts. Team name and year, sold to anyone. A good programme sells hundreds.

Sponsor shirts with local businesses on the back. Sponsors pay specifically for this.

Homecoming shirts with the year and the opponent.

Rivalry game shirts. The single biggest-selling shirt of most seasons.

Memorial shirts for a player or coach the programme lost. Clear the design with the family first.

At fifteen or more the cost drops 25%, and at football volumes that is the entire margin of a booster fundraiser.

    Organising a large order

Confirm every number against the official roster. With 50-plus players this is where mistakes happen.

Use a form, not a group chat.

Ask for the full size range, S–5XL. Football rosters span an enormous range and linemen in particular need the larger sizes. Ask explicitly — they will not volunteer.

    Order 15% spares.

Check school rules on the logo and mascot before using them.

    Ordering

No minimum. Fifteen or more gets 25% off — a football roster clears it several times over. Different names and numbers on every shirt cost nothing extra. No setup or artwork fees, including a 50-name roster. Free design proof — check every number here. S–5XL at $25, $28 and $30.
